How it works

  • The heat pump collects heat from the air making it usable for heating your hot tub or swimming pool.

  • Environmental heat is conducted through the inverter where anti-freeze liquid is passed over it.

  • The liquid is always lower than the incoming air temperature allowing the system to draw heat energy from it.

  • The heat gained is transferred to a refrigerant, a liquid that vaporises even at low temperatures.

  • The refrigerant absorbs the heat, boils and vaporises the liquid which is passed into a compressor which compresses this producing steam, in turn raising the temperature.

  • The refrigerant passes the heat to the heating system where it is used to heat the water flowing through the unit.
